Toronto Staycation
This was a much needed trip to the city....with so much going on in the world it felt good to stay in a hotel have good time and explore the city not compartmentalize the grave status of this pandemic. New food places, some shopping, and sights of course! The quietness to the streets and inside buildings were weird yet sublime but after a few months since my time there it has got busier especially at night around Yonge & Dundas Square and Nathan Philips Square. The DIFFERENCE between the last 3 photos and the rest up top when I went for a day drive to see the cherry blossoms. I have to add while beautiful in a sense with always something new to witness or a quirky pop up Toronto is filled with a lot of cannabis and bubble tea stores while homelessness remains a lingering problem. It was just a nice escape from the everyday routine of things now that the new rules are in place I'm glad I made the choice to go when I did as now that reality is a shaky one. Stay safe and healthy !
