It's only getting colder but I forgot to highlight one of my favorite events that I attended this past summer. Dundas Westfest which took place on of course Dundas St West usually I avoid street festivals with a hard NO given the huge amount of people but I initially went in the area to attend the Vintage Street wear Clothing Sale. It cost $5 to get in and there vendors selling used but rare pieces along with trap music bumping and disappointingly no A.C. I was on a quest to covet something with a wow factor and as a fashion feen never been to one of these. After hunting for a lengthy duration I ended up leaving with a pink hoodie with a rose design on the back and a green tee with a red rose on the front left corner.

Spent about $90 but felt good to support a local and upcoming brand run by two Pakistani brothers. Their apparel had meaningful saying's printed in Arabic afterwards my mom and I decided to stay and see what else there was to discover we got a quick bite that consisted of a colourful salad at a vegan spot called "The Goods ". Then we walked from both ends I got naturally a sweetened popsicle to cool down with, watched a dance studio put on a mesmerizing acrobatic show, pondered unfamiliar brands selling their goods, and popped in local thrift stores. There was tons of savory foods wafting through the air like bbq chicken being freshly grilled. That's what I love most about summer.... to explore spontaneously with no real intention or destination in mind which in turn can lead you to wonderful experiences.
