Money makes us both feel stressful and successful at times and as we get older it becomes more impending where we stand financially. I wanted to share some of my suggestions that I've learned over the year. I am a true "hustler" I always look for ways to make and save money and though we can't all aspire to be millionaires....
1 -Live below your means! as in don't spend to maintain a reputation to impress others or maintain a lifestyle you can't afford. People should like you for your personality not what you have material wise. Pay attention to how much you make and budget with that saving what you can for security.
2. Avoid impulsive purchases! we can all get so caught up having the latest and flashiest but unless you truly need something there is no point to buying it. I can be notorious for compulsive shopping because I am materialistic I won't deny but do treat yourself to one thing monthly or if you work hard towards something and save for it then go ahead guilt free
3. Focus on sale prices! especially when you are grocery shopping I always go towards what is at the best price and looking for that reduced sticker. I not only save money but don't get caught up spending over $100 cutting the price in half drastically by straying from processed foods.
4. Shop on holidays for the best deals! Always wait for one to buy that one thing you had your eyes on for a long time I can't stress how some of best purchases have been made on either Black Friday or Canada Day recently to long weekends.
5. Enter contests as much as possible! So many events I have had the privilege to go without spending a dime (minus the transportation) by entering contests online it might sound silly but just like the lottery take your chances and hope for the best because you never know!
